Article 152. Gas extraction and exploration or extraction of coal or other solid fuels.

1. The provisions of the code apply to activities relating to the exploitation of a geographical area, for the following purposes: a) oil extraction, extraction or production of gas; b) exploration or extraction of coal or other solid fuels. 2. Activities relating to the exploitation of a geographical area for the purposes of oil and natural gas exploration, as well as oil production, remain excluded from the application of the provisions of the code, as they are activities directly exposed to competition on freely accessible.
